The Star Bakery opened its doors in 1865 serving miners in theNevada City and Virginia City (little over a mile away)area. It is still open today and serves a mighty fine meal.

This token was collected about 40 to 50 years ago and has sat in the Montana collection I am now selling ever since. It has not been reported previously. The token is in the style of tokens that date to the 1880's or 1890's.
