Rare, unlisted token.

There is a D. Tate token listed in the Montana Token Book, but this older Tate token is not listed. D. Tate was the son of Carey M. Tate and from a time in the first decade of the 20th Century they ran the Tait Saloon together in Belgrade and issued this token. See Business Directory listings in the 1906 MN-DAK-MT Polk Gazetteer and the 1908 Pacific Coast Agency Gazetteer. From about 1912 on D or Dee Tait was listed as the sole Proprietor of the Tatt Saloon.
