This token was purchased many years ago by Lewis Egnew at an estate sale in Montana and came with other Newlon, Montana tokens. The token is attributed to John O'Brien who was a Grocery Store, Hotel and Saloon Proprietor in the 1880's and early 1890's. The token could be territorial.

A copy of O'Briens listing form the 1886 Montana Territory Bradstreet is provided below.
