Ft. Meade, South Dakota P.X. BUS ONLY US ARMY 5c Token

ADDITIONAL INFO: This token is Cunningham (Military Tokens Of The United States) SD180a and Atwood (Transportation Tokens) SD370b.

Some collectors have asked whether this was a transportation token or a P.X./Canteen token. I personally spoke to a few old Ft. Meade veterans in the early 1980's and they all reported that the token was used for a bus ride from the Fort to the nearby town of Sturgis, South Dakota.
