The town of Carbonado is not listed in the Montana Token Book.

Carbonado, Montana was a coal mining town in Carbon County, Montana, 23 miles North East of Red Lodge. In 1900 the town had 300 residents and A coal mine and J. M. Hardin was the town Barber. A copy of his Business Directory listing in the 1900 R. L. Polk Gazetteer is provided below. By 1904 the town had been abandoned.
