(Yellowstone Mammoth Gardiner & Livingston, Montana) Wylie System 25c Token-Rare

The Wylie System was the early provider of Yellowstone Park Camping Tours, Stage Service to and out of Yellowstone Park, Hotels and so forth. Yellowstone Park was a early day wonder promoted by the Northern Pacific Railroad which carried tourists from back east to Livingston, Montana. Then folks like Wylie would take the tourists on into the Park for the actual Yellowstone experience..

This is a Super Rare Token that is not listed in Montana Token Literature.

The Wylie operation was owned and managed by W. W. Wylie until 1908 and then A. W. Miles took over.

For Business Directory Listings see the 1914 Bradstreet and the 1916 R. L. Polk Gazetteer under Livingston, where "The Wylie Permanent Camping Co" maintained an Office and picked up tourists. A copy of both listings is provided below.
