M. D. Harris ran a General Store in Fairview, Montana in the late teens and early 1920's. You can find Business Directory listings for him, for example, in the 1818, 1919, 1922 and 1923 R. G. Duns. This token was also used in Sioux Pass, Montana which was 18 miles N.W. of Fairview and M.D. Harris also has self identified tokens from St. Joseph, Idaho- and a couple of the Idaho tokens are also listed in this store. Harris was in St. Joe Idaho up about 1914.
