This token was issued by Thomas Hagner of Royal, Montana in about 1904. A copy of Hagners listing from the 1904 R. L. Polk Montana Gazetteer is provided below. The token has been X'ed, apparently as used.

Royal is an unlisted token town. It was a mining camp about 20 miles north of Philipsburg.
